I have decided I’m going to start a flash back Friday series with my work. Every week I am going to show the progression of my photography journey, how my skills have grown over time and how my style has evolved. It won’t always be pretty but everyone starts somewhere.
This first photo is from 2009. I am pretty sure I looked at this picture and thought man this is awesome. I was still shooting in auto, in jpeg, used a stock lens, I didn’t have any idea of white balance and just assumed my camera was smarter then me.
The second photo was from our ski trip a couple weeks ago. I was shooting in raw, white balance was in kelvin, shooting in manual and I know my camera isn’t smarter then me and I need to go with my instinct.
